1. Who we are

This website is run by Timiza Farm Machinery, Opposite Buffalo Mall, Naivasha Town, Naivasha, Kenya. We sell farm machinery and livestock in Kenya and the wider region. For anything in this policy, contact us at timizafarmmachinery@gmail.com or +254 102 454 202.

2. What we collect and how

The contact form. When you send a message from our Contact page we receive, by email, your name, email address and phone number (if you give them), your message, the date and time, and the IP address your message was sent from. If you give an email address we send you one automatic confirmation email.

Order, booking and Lipa Mdogo forms. The Shop Now, Lipa Mdogo, livestock booking and farm-visit forms do not send anything to our website or store anything on it. They put the details you type into a WhatsApp message on your own device. Nothing reaches us until you press send in WhatsApp.

WhatsApp, calls and M-Pesa. When you chat, call or pay us we receive what you share there: typically your name, phone number, delivery location, the product you want and your M-Pesa payment confirmation.

3. How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and confirm your order, price, payment and delivery.
• To deliver, install and demonstrate machinery, and to deliver livestock to the location you give us.
• To run Lipa Mdogo plans: issuing your registration code, recording deposits and instalments, and reminding you when a payment is due.
• To verify payments and keep the business records the law requires.
• To follow up after delivery with support or advice you have asked for.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

Only with the people and services needed to complete your order: our own sales, delivery and installation staff; transport partners carrying your order; and the services you choose to contact us through, such as WhatsApp (operated by Meta), your mobile network and M-Pesa, and our email provider. Each of these handles data under its own privacy terms. We will also share information where the law requires us to.

5. Cookies and third-party content

This storefront does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. To display fonts and icons, pages load files from Google Fonts and the Cloudflare cdnjs service, which receive your IP address as part of delivering those files. WordPress itself may set cookies if you log in to the site. If other tools are added to the site later, this section will be updated.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails and order conversations for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry, complete and support your order and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Lipa Mdogo records are kept until your plan is fully paid and for the period the law requires afterwards.

7. Your rights

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose, subject to what the law allows. Email timizafarmmachinery@gmail.com and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).

8. Keeping it safe

We limit access to your details to the staff who need them to serve you. We only ever take payment through M-Pesa Pay Bill 444174 — we will never ask you to pay to a personal number or to share your M-Pesa PIN.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
